Here's also the write-up on the game by John Heglie...

At Polson, the visiting Hamilton Lady Broncs put the host Lady Pirates on their heels with a first half shooting clinic, dialing long distance 7 of 9 times from behind the arc to take a 20-25 lead into intermission. Hamilton opened the 3rd Qtr with their 8th trey of the night that reflected a blistering 80 percent conversion rate at that point.

Lady Pirate junior post Riley Kenney was sent crashing to the floor with 5 minutes remaining in the third and left the game for the bench visibly in pain.

Fortunately for the home team, that would not the the last the visitors would hear from her. The Lady Broncs would eventually stretch their 5 point halftime margin into a double digit 12 point lead 22-34 with 3 minutes remaining in the third frame.

At that point the Lady Pirates dialed up their game mode and began to convert their own shots, trimming the visitors lead down 27-34 entering the final quarter. The free throw shooting of "Bodacious" MacKenzie Banner and Riley Kenney would prove crucial as Polson shifted the momentum back to the home team to trim the Hamilton lead to a mere point, followed by a only steal of the night for the NWA queen of basketball thieves Breanne Kelley that she converted to give Polson its first lead of the night 35-34.

The Lady Pirates would expand that lead to 4 with the score 38-34, but a deuce in the paint by Hamilton's Meghan Kratofil and a pair of free throws by Rebecka Hood notted things up at 38 apiece with 4 minutes remaining. Kelley would dial long distance for the second time in the quarter to give Polson back the lead 41-38.

Kenney would drain a pair of free throws to give her team a 5 point lead before she would have to leave the game a second time due to injury with just under 3 minutes remaining. Kenney would return for the final minute of the game in which she contributed a strong double-double. At that juncture the remainder of the game boiled down to a lot of free throws being traded back and forth.

"Bodacious" MacKenzie Banner would go 3-4 from the charity stripe, Nina Orozco-Charlo would make half of her two trips and Kelley would drain both of her attempts to account for the rest of the Polson scoring. Hood would make one during her trip to the line before she would foul out, Kaurie Albert would convert both of her attempts with a deuce thrown in and Presley Chadwick would add one further to round out the scoring for Hamilton.
