More stats to dig through for the Northwestern A conference. Shall we take a look?
Team Rushing Offense
1. Col. Falls (258 attempts, 1604 yards, 6.22 yards per rush, 229.14 yards per game, 14 touchdowns)
2. Ronan (345, 1650, 4.78, 206.25, 16)
3. Polson (245, 1386, 5.66, 198.00, 18)
3. Libby (239, 1342, 5.62, 167.75, 17)
5. Whitefish (139, 689, 4.96, 86.13, 7)
Ronan may have had a rough last Friday against Polson but I still stand by the fact that they have one of the most prolific rushing games in the state. They'll face Columbia Falls this Friday and they'll have to find a way to shut down running back Nate Thompson.
Team Scoring
1. Polson (227 points, 32.43 points per game, 69 opponents points, 9.86 opponents points per game)
2. Col. Falls (193, 27.57, 128, 18.29)
3. Libby (202, 25.25, 183, 22.88)
4. Ronan (182, 22.75, 257, 32.13)
I know Polson lost to Columbia Falls but is there a chance that the Pirates are the best team in the Northwestern A conference? Could it be that they're more balanced than Columbia Falls and the Wildcats caught them on a bad night?
Team passing
1. Whitefish (272 pass attempts, 152 pass completions, 55.88% passing percentage, 1925 yards, 9 touchdowns, 14 interceptions)
2. Polson (120, 67, 55.83%, 1022, 8, 7)
3. Libby (176, 78, 44.32%, 1104, 9, 12)
4. Col. Falls (103, 44, 42.72%, 826, 13, 7)
5. Ronan (99, 53, 53.54%, 741, 8, 8)
Whitefish may have the "best" passing offense but is it as efficient as Polson's? I'll take Vinnie D at quarterback over anyone in the conference.
