LIBBY - With four teams advancing to the divisional tournament, the Mission Bulldogs will need to take the long way around. In their opening game of the District 7-B tournament, they fell to a pumped up Troy team 45-32.
The Bulldogs played Troy close in the first half, trailing just 19-15 at halftime. However, a slow third quarter put them in a hole they couldn't get out of.
Mission was led by freshman Stuart Grant with 10 points.
The Bulldogs will now await an opponent for a Saturday elimination game.
