Here are the AP Montana High School Football Polls this week. In case you're wondering how we get these polls, the Montana High School Football facebook site is separate from the AP polls and therefore a completely different entity. However, the person running it does a kick butt job and I feel deserves recognition for their polls (Because they rank up to 30-something teams in the lower classifications). The AP poll is derived from the voting of AP papers (namely daily papers in the state) on the top teams. And yes, I'm bitter that I don't get a vote.
Without further delay here is the AP Montana football polls...
Class A Rankings
1. Billings Central (8 first place votes), 3-0 record - Previous ranking 1
2. Miles City (4 first place votes), 3-0 record - Previous ranking 2
3. Dillon, 3-0 record - Previous ranking 3
4. Laurel, 3-0 record - Previous ranking tied for 4
5. Polson, 2-0 record - Previous ranking not ranked
Also receiving votes - Hardin 18, Butte Central 18.
Class B Rankings
1. Fairfield (10 first place votes), 2-0 record - Previous ranking 1
2. Malta (1 first place vote), 2-0 record - Previous ranking tied for 3
3. Townsend, 2-0 record - Previous ranking tied for 3
