Northwestern A Golf Divisionals

POLSON - A one-two finish by Arthur Doorn and Reed Platke delivered the Northwestern A divisional title to the Whitefish boys golf team on Thursday at Polson Bay Golf Course.

Doorn shot a 73 to claim medalist honors, while Platke was two shots back.

Whitefish was an easy winner with a 313 total. Frenchtown, 358, placed second and Libby, 365, was third.
Parker Johnson of Columbia Falls and Hayden Congdon of Polson tied for third with 77s.

Whitefish also had the medalist in girls play with Erin Tabish carding an 81. Nicole Clairmont of Polson was second and five shots back with an 86. Polson's Kat Medland and Jaylin Kenney tied for third with 89s.

Polson, placing five girls in the top seven spots, took team honors with a 354 total. Whitefish, 390, was second and Frenchtown, 487, third.
