Bozeman gets Class A boy's basketball tournament

It's been a crazy time so far with all the postseason tournaments getting moved around. The tornado that ripped through Rimrock Auto Arena in Billings has made it's impact far and wide in the world of high school sports. The Wrestling state tournament is going to be split up and spread across the state, and now the Class A boy's basketball tournament will be moving to Bozeman.

The tournament will be on March 3-5 at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse in Bozeman, which is considerably closer to the Mission Valley than Billings. I mapquested it and it would be a 271-mile journey to Bozeman from Polson, which is roughly four hours, as opposed to six and a half hour drive to Billings.

The people in Billings aren't happy about losing another postseason tournament as they had suggested using the Expo Center with a capacity of 4,500 people. The fieldhouse in Bozeman can hold 7,000.

What do you think about the Class A boy's basketball tournament being held in Bozeman?
