Charlo takes out defending state champions

I'm not one to brag (yes I am) and I don't want to make this any bigger deal than it is (it's a big freakin' deal) but the Charlo Vikings took out the defending state champions last night, Drummond.

The 38-14 victory is even more impressive, considering Drummond has won five of the last seven state championships and they walloped Charlo last season.

Senior quarterback Chico Stipe was incredible again, rushing for 212 yards and two touchdowns. The Vikings also unleashed their air attack against the Trojans, with senior Austin Bauer catching two 35-yard touchdown passes.

Charlo never trailed against Drummond, jumping out to a 14-6 lead in the first half and then piling it on the second half for 24 more points and the victory.
