Mission boys down Ronan, Maidens trounce Lady Bulldogs

RONAN - Mission took down Class A Ronan with a 6-0 win over the Chiefs last Tuesday in boys' tennis action. The Ronan girls came out victorious over the Lady Bulldogs with a 6-1 win.

In boys' action, Spencer Ahlborn began his state title defense with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Ronan No. 1 Hunter Shima. His teammates would go on to win the rest of the matches. The doubles teams also swept.

In girls' action, other that the No. 1 match that had Mission's Sarah Bowers defeating Ronan's Jess Benedetti, 6-4, 6-2, the Maidens won every match of the dual including doubles.
