Morning Coffee for April 15

Mas Sports has a first hand account of the sport Parkour. Here's a little excerpt.

I started learning Parkour from a friend when I was twelve, practicing different movements and experimenting for the hell of it. With this new thought I realized much more though, that man has made itself no boundaries, just a gigantic playground. I almost forgot about that thought to, but when I was fourteen I met my sensai and the real fun began. I became aware that that my body was much more capable of doing these things.

The simple vaults and jumps soon became precise and I started developing a knack for this amazing, and new freedom. Once I was into it there was no going back. I am currently sharpening my skills and slowly learning even more. My skills are not comparable whatsoever to professionals and the experienced traceurs, but that does not restrict me to having as much fun as them!

I personally would love to do this stuff if there was some sort of designated Parkour that allowed me to get to the fridge quickly. Now with that said, lets move on to the morning links...

Pro News
Gonzalez, Red Sox agree to $154 million super-deal - However, deal does not undo their terrible start so far in the 2011 season. As a Red Sox fan myself, couldn't we just have bought out Dice-K's contract and made the team better that way?

Mauer on the DL with leg weakness - Must have been in to many PS3 game commercials.

College News
Kansas ticket scalper gets 57 months in jail - Whoooooah, looks like I won't be scalping any Kalispell roller derby tickets anytime soon.

High School News
Polson just continues to kick butt - just scroll down to the post below. I'm half thinking that the Red Sox should just sign this team to turn the season around.
