(Game Recap by Polson head coach Jess Kittle)
This was a conference game. Bigfork came out strong in the opening half and had us playing out of our comfort zone. But we were able to make a couple adjustments at halftime and play better in the 2nd half.

Freshman Morgan Moll and Senior goalkeeper Peregrine Frissell both got their first varsity goals of their careers in this game. Riley Lemm and Jon Murphy both got goals by taking a little power off their shots and accurately passing the ball into the back of the net. Murphy’s goal came from his left foot, he has been working hard to improve his left over the past few seasons and it was great to see him get a goal off his left. Nick Howell did a great job at sweeper, Bigfork had a lot of attacks, but only got past Nick and the rest of the defense 4 times to get shots on goal.

Our record is now 3-1-2 (2-1-0 in conference).

Our next game is Saturday at Columbia Falls.
