Ronan overcame an early 16-0 deficit and battled Florence tough before falling 31-14 on Friday.
Jack "The Ripper" Humphreys started the rally by scoring on a 23-yard run. After a Florence field goal, Marcus Hungerford had a five yard touchdown run. Ronan also recorded a safety to pull within 19-14 at halftime.
After a scoreless third quarter, Florence scored two touchdowns in the fourth. The Chiefs fell to 2-1 in conference and 6-2 overall.
