Pirates hold off Loggers

LIBBY - The Polson Pirates blew out to a 24-0 lead over host Libby, then held on for a 48-39 victory in a Northwestern A wrestling dual on Tuesday.

The Pirates picked up two forfeits and had two pins in the first four weight classes to build that huge lead.

Libby bounced back with pins at 130, 145, 160, 189 and 215, but couldn't overcome Polson's advantage.

There were 10 pins on the night - five each for the Pirates and the Loggers.

Loggers getting pins were Kyle Leir, Devin Williams, Dylan Berget, Austin Bailey and Logan Neubauer.

Pirates picking up pins were Dylan Moll, Craig Feistner, Jacob Young, Alex Nystrom and Mike Devlin.
