BUTTE - Sheridan led Arlee in the first half, but more importantly they couldn't hold onto the lead as the Warriors exploded for 46 points in the second half to take a 65-53 victory and moved on in the divisional tournament on Thursday.
Sheridan had built a 27-19 lead as both teams went to the locker rooms for halftime but it would all come falling spectacularly down.
The spark for this comeback by Arlee? Junior Sanavere, who looked more senior than the rest as he scored 15 of his team-leading 23 points after halftime.
The Warriors had three players in double digits and shot 61 percent from the field in the game and got 18 points off of free throws.
Arlee will face Twin Bridges at 4 p.m. for a berth to the district finals on the line.
Sheridan - 14 - 13 - 10 - 16 - 53
Arlee - 10 - 9 - 23 - 23 - 65
Warriors scoring - Junior Sansavere 23, Jesse Pfau 13, Trae Burland 12, Kasey Bridgewater 9, Thomas McClure 8
