Ronan wins in thriller

RONAN - The Chiefs have now won two games in a row against two conference foes. The second one was considerably more important as it allows Ronan to advance to the semis against Columbia Falls today at 2 p.m.

Ronan played Libby close and overcame poor shooting (26.1 percent) to get past the Loggers, 39-37 on Thursday. They were led by J.J. Tanner, who finished with 11 points.

The Chiefs were able to beat the Loggers on the offensive boards 10-5, and hit 83 percent of their free throws.
